– Traditional African folk song
CAYA's New Moon Circles are inclusive of Spirit Guides, Animal Totems, the Fae, plant spirit medicine and those who came before who continue to guide us and support our lives. We seek to honor all ancestors: those related to us by blood, by spiritual path, and by location. This circle includes Shamanic practices such as deep meditation, drumming, singing and sound healing, as well as ecstatic chanting and dancing.
The New Moon is a time of darkness, reflection, and the best time to get in touch with the gracious spirits who guide you everyday. This is an opportunity for us all to respectfully develop our relationships with these spirits as well as honor the spirits of this land. We will take a global approach to understanding shamanism in it's many forms. Let this be a time of renewal and refreshment and allow yourself the freedom to play and explore in our circles! Blessed Be!
